As an interdisciplinary scholar, Daniel da Silva explores queer expressions and subjectivities through performance in Luso-Afro-Brazilian cultures. To sustain that research, he develops and participates in deliberate acts of field-building to support a community of artists, audiences, and scholars with shared interests.
